I thought the Volt was primarly an electric car. with gas engine as a reserve after the battery expires. The review sounds good. I'll buy it in a second if it runs exclusively on electricity. I pay $200 a month on gas alone. I'll commit to that in the purchase of the volt.
I think the price of gas will rise, not because of production, but federal taxes to pay off the deficit. I respect and concede your thoughts about the aesthics of the vechicle, but i'm sick of being dependent on gasoline. I'll spare you the political garbage.

Who in their right mind would turn a concept like the Chevy Volt into another Prius wannabe? What happened to the car that they showed us last year? In my mind the Volt was the only hope for a hybrid concept that does not make me want to hide behind heavy tinted windows. What it used to look like a Camaro now has the profile of a Prius, the back of a Prius and if you look from a little afar, the front of a Prius. We all know that we only buy hybrids for the gas millage, but do they have to make them so ugly? I am afraid that they are doing it on purpose. If they make a good looking hybrid, no one is going to buy their gas powered cars. Why all that money trying to make gasoline cars fuel efficient, just give us a DECENT and GOOD LOOKING (not just a camry made into a hybrid) HYBRID CAR!
