Fast & Furious Cars: 1983 Chevy El Camino

Bit Role for a Trucklet

    0 Ratings

Not every car gets star billing in Fast & Furious. This '83 Chevy El Camino is a bit player in the film — there more for atmosphere than moving the story forward. It's part of the crowd of cars that barrel through a tunnel that theoretically runs under the border between Mexico and the United States. And of course, barreling through a tunnel at speed usually winds up badly in the movies.

The picture car department built two of these El Caminos. One was destroyed during filming, while one survives and is in storage.
