LAS VEGAS — Bruce Willis, the action hero of the Die Hard movies and a longtime car collector, will sell his 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible, 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 and 1988 Lincoln Limousine at the upcoming 2009 Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas event.
The 1967 Corvette, a copper maroon model with a 435-horsepower Tri-Power V8 and four-speed manual transmission, was purchased during the filming of the 1996 movie Last Man Standing. Also on the block will be Willis' black-on-black 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 and the dark blue 1988 Lincoln Limousine that was used to take the action star to the set of his TV series Moonlighting and was also used during the filming of Die Hard.
"These cars are special in that they correspond with important moments in Bruce's life, both personally and professionally," said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson, in a statement.
The 2nd Annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Las Vegas takes place October 7-10.
