Two different models are available: a yellow Pratt & Miller C6.R Corvette and the red or satin black Pratt & Miller C6RS. Both are 1/14th-scale models of the real vehicles and come with a radio-controlled chassis or a free-wheel chassis for those who just want to display the mini monster. They definitely have big shoes to fill, considering the real-life C6RS boasts an impressive 600 horsepower and is priced at more than $260,000.
Ridemakerz is considered the equivalent of the popular Build A Bear Workshop for model cars, because kids can pimp out their favorite rides with different rims, side pipes, engines, hood scoops and spoilers in more than 649 million combinations.
Prices range from $29 to $40 for the Pratt & Miller C6.R and C6RS, and you will have to shell out an extra $25 for the remote-controlled versions. They make their debut on December 5 and are available from Ridemakerz shops or on its Web site.
