The Cobalt SS will share its turbocharged, direct-injection 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with the Pontiac Solstice GXP, the Saturn Sky Red Line and the Chevy HHR SS. The engine makes a lusty 260 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque and in the Cobalt SS will provide sub-6-second 0-60-mph acceleration times.
Chevy hasn't released details on the '09 Cobalt SS Sedan, but expect the sticker to match that of the coupe, which will start at just under $23,000.
