RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, California — MagnaFlow is unveiling the Mario Andretti Edition 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS at the 2011 SEMA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center November 1-4.

This special-edition Camaro SS has been outfitted with some of the aftermarket's leading brands, including Magnuson Products, Advanced Clutch Technology, HRE, Brembo Brakes, Eibach Springs, Pirelli, Street Scene, Bill Dunn Upholstery and Mother's Car Care Products.

The Camaro was inspected and driven by Andretti at the Nashville Super Speedway, where he put it through its paces and reached triple-digit speeds. Only then was the special Camaro deemed worthy of the Mario Andretti Edition moniker.

The Camaro is slated for auction at Barrett-Jackson's 2012 Scottsdale event, with all proceeds benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project, which helps service members with life-altering injuries.

Andretti will be at the SEMA show on November 2 alongside his Camaro namesake.

Yes, but Mario did it while reading Vialardi's, A Treatise of Modern Cookery and Patisserie while eating lasagna.

Wow.  100+ in a Camaro SS on a 1.33 mile banked speedway.  With a true racing legend at the wheel.  Considering the average speed on I-285 in Atlanta is 80+ by caffeine-crazed business men and soccer moms in Odyssey's and Sonata's, it's not a huge accomplishment.
