MELBOURNE, Australia — General Motors has been testing its 2009 Chevrolet Camaro prototypes around the world, and the latest photos were taken by spy photographers Down Under.
With Holden, GM's Australian arm, leading the development work on the rear-wheel-drive Camaro, the Chevy has been caught before testing near Holden's home base.
Official specifications for the production car have not yet been released, but the Camaro concept used a 400-horsepower all-aluminum 6.0-liter V8 mated to a six-speed manual transmission, plus an independent rear suspension.
