The information was leaked by Jason Drees of Symdon Chevrolet on the Camaro5 forums, who posted that he heard via a live GM broadcast to dealers that the package is coming.
Details include a Rally Yellow paint job, which is a tad brighter than the dark yellow to be featured on the vehicle in the sequel Revenge of the Fallen, with black racing stripes. The Camaro will be badged with special Transformers detailing on the wheel caps, sill plates and console lid. Production is set to begin June 24 and run until mid-December.
The option will be available to order come June 1. Official details on the package should be forthcoming from GM soon.
