Callaway To Build Hendrick Anniversary Camaro: 2009 SEMA Auto Show

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina — Callaway Cars has been commissioned to build a limited run of 25 copies of the Hendrick Motorsports 25th Anniversary Edition Camaro SS. The car will be displayed next week at the 2009 SEMA Auto Show.
Priced at $76,181, the Anniversary Edition Camaro gets the full Callaway treatment. An Eaton TVS supercharger, Honker air intake and similar engine modifications help boost output to 582 horsepower, trimming 0-to-60-mph acceleration to 3.9 seconds. Callaway has also added a short-throw shifter and a cat-back exhaust system to goose performance.
Suspension upgrades include Eibach/Callaway coil springs, stabilizer bars and shocks, plus 20-inch Callaway/Hendrick Motorsports wheels.
Exterior modifications include a carbon fiber aero kit that bundles a front splitter, rocker panels, rear diffuser and deck spoiler, as well as a ZR1-style hood with carbon fiber insert.
After the show, you can place your order at Jimmie Johnson Chevrolet in San Diego or any one of Rick Hendrick's Chevrolet dealerships in North Carolina, Georgia and Kansas
