LAS VEGAS — Award-winning designer/tuner Neil Tjin is among an exclusive group of customizers tapped by General Motors to strut their stuff on the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro at the 2009 SEMA Auto Show, which will take place November 3-6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The Tjin Edition Camaro SS will be one of eight tuner Camaros on display at SEMA, according to the Web site GMTunerSource.com. Other custom Camaros are coming from Nick Ashby (National Guard), Rick Bottom Designs, Sound Choice Audio and Performance, Bomex Aero, DSO Eyewear, Conrad Grunewald and Trent's Trick Upholstery.

Neil Tjin, who created the Tjin Edition Pontiac G8 GT for last year's SEMA show, confirmed to Inside Line that his Tjin Edition Modern Hot Rod Chevy Camaro will be on display at SEMA 2009, adding, "GM has asked us not to release any sketches until later this summer (similar to how we did with the G8)."

According to Tjin, this year's SEMA car will feature a custom-made set of 22- and 24-inch mesh iForged wheels shod with Falken tires; SSBC brakes; Air Lift suspension and a custom-built engine with JE pistons, Vortech supercharger, BDL accessories, MagnaFlow exhaust, American Racing headers and a Nitrous Express setup.

To accent the carbon-fiber-trimmed cockpit and Realm Audio system, the car will get a Webasto sunroof, black LED headlamps and a full-house PPG custom green paint scheme.
