SEOUL, South Korea — GM Daewoo has issued a teaser picture of the forthcoming Chevrolet Aveo replacement. To be called Gentra in South Korea, it will arrive at its domestic market this fall.
Gentra was previewed as the Chevrolet Aveo at the Shanghai auto show earlier this year. This 169.7-inch-long sedan, which is bigger than the current Aveo, was designed in South Korea with input from the SAIC-GM joint venture design studio in China, called Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center.
It will be manufactured both in South Korea and China, and just like its predecessor, it will be sold worldwide — 120 countries are targeted.
