LONDON — The Union Jack-bedecked Caterham Seven Lambretta special edition "screams Britannia," according to its makers. To some, it may look like a strange creation out of an Austin Powers movie.
The visually arresting 2010 special model is a collaboration between Caterham and Lambretta Clothing, a Carnaby Street mainstay. The car, with a price that's the U.S. equivalent of $41,605, has a heavy-handed Union Jack theme. The exterior gets lots of red, white and blue, with the theme extending into the seats, carpets and trunk. A Moto-Lita steering wheel adds the finishing touch.
The special model is equipped with a 1.6-liter Ford Sigma engine that churns out 125 horsepower.

I'm disappointed. I expected a collaboration between Caterham and the Lambretta motor-scooter people. . .
