Tuner Special: Wald Black Bison

TOKYO, Japan — Wald International, the Japanese tuning house, first used the Black Bison name on a hotter edition of the Mercedes-Benz CL coupe. Its latest Black Bison variant is based on the S63 AMG sedan.

The W221 Black Bison Edition Sports Line (now there's a handle) comes with a full aero body kit, composed of new front and rear bumpers, front airdam, rear diffuser, side skirts and side vents. As the name suggests, the car is painted black, right down to the Portofino forged alloy wheels, which are offered in 20- and 22-inch sizes.

Wald also has upgraded the suspension and brakes. Interior enhancements include carbon-fiber accents and a sport steering wheel.

What this means to you: Great name for a cool tuner car. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent
