RUTESHEIM, Germany — Even though the GT2 reigns as the most powerful Porsche wearing the 911 badge, SpeedART decided to up the ante again with the introduction of the BTR-XS650.

Short for BiTurbo Racer-Extra Speed with 650 horsepower, this black beauty is loaded with goodies under the hood. The power increase of 120 hp is the product of a sport exhaust with twin tailpipes and higher-flowing cats, new headers, a bigger intercooler, modified VTG turbochargers and a Motronic ECU that optimizes the flat-6's power. This supercar flies to 60 mph in about 3.2 seconds and doesn't stop until it reaches an unbelievable top speed of 216 mph.

Huge 20-inch wheel sets in black or white are available to complete the elegant yet sporty Porsche look, and combine with coil-over shocks all around to help keep the BTR-XS650 on the ground around corners. The whole kit is available for the equivalent of $43,450 and includes a slew of interior design options like sport seats, steering wheels and special Alcantara applications.

What this means to you: SpeedART's latest package brings the GT2 to a whole new, Enzo-competing level. — Mike Lysaght, Correspondent
