GOODWOOD, England — Hoping to become synonymous with extreme "stunts," the 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed on Wednesday announced that such extreme sports stars as Ken Block will be showcased at the upcoming event.
Organizers said Block, the cult star of the Gymkhana videos and a WRC driver, will be demonstrating his Ford Fiesta Gymkhana 3 car for the first time in Europe. He will also pilot the Works Ford Focus RS WRC rally car around the Goodwood Forest Rally Stage.
The Red Bull X-Fighters, freestyle motocross riders, are also on tap to perform at the Festival of Speed. Top Irish stunt rider Mattie Griffin will make his Goodwood debut, organizers said.
The 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed runs July 2-4.
