CHESTERFIELD, Missouri — As GM gets ready to put a bullet in Hummer, a Hummer dealer here is offering buyers a Browning Citori White Lightning shotgun with every new Hummer purchased.
This is the same dealership, Lynch Hummer, that lured buyers into the showroom last summer by selling AK-47s and other firearms. General Motors said in late February that its deal to sell the ailing Hummer brand to an obscure Chinese firm, Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machines, had collapsed and that it would begin winding down Hummer operations.
In a statement to media on Friday, Lynch Hummer said it is "Sending Hummers Off with a Bang!"
"The guns have been a huge hit with our Hummer customers and now we are taking the 'Guns and Hummers' concept one step further," said Jim Lynch, owner of the dealership, in a statement.
Last summer, GM fired back at Lynch and his "Adventure Shooting Sports" offshoot of the dealership. The automaker said Lynch never got formal permission to sell firearms in the showrooms. GM didn't respond to Inside Line's request on Friday for a comment about the new offer.

Ah man!! I've been wanting an over/under shotgun for a long time. Now all i have to do is get up enough money to buy a Hummer and I can have one...*rolls eyes*
