Danica Patrick Reveals a Wholesome Side in Milk Campaign

    0 Ratings

INDIANAPOLIS — Danica Patrick's latest foray into the popular culture takes her into the "Got Milk?" campaign, which was created in 1995 to promote the health benefits of milk. The Patrick poster was unveiled on Thursday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, depicting Patrick wearing a milk mustache and a black catsuit.

Patrick, 28, is participating in the Body by Milk education program, which is part of the overall "Got Milk?" campaign. She told the media that her milk choice for Victory Circle at the Indy 500 is chocolate. The campaign is a somewhat startling departure from her usual glamour shots, most famously the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, in which she is sprawled in and around sports cars wearing a bikini.

Her interest in milk is probably a good thing, since she told CNBC.com in a recent interview that prior to her appearances in the swimsuit issue she "didn't eat anything for all of Thanksgiving or Christmas."

Patrick was recently named to the Time 100 Influential People list.
