Bret Michaels' Cars To Cross Auction Block at Barrett-Jackson

    SCOTTSDALE, Arizona — A 2004 Bentley Continental GT, a 2004 Lincoln Navigator and a 2011 Ford Explorer owned by Poison front man and reality TV star Bret Michaels will cross the auction block in January.

    The cars are part of the annual Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction, which runs January 15-22. Michaels will also perform at the private Barrett-Jackson Opening Gala. Some tickets to that event will be available through Barrett-Jackson's Twitter feed @barrett-jackson.

    Last year, the rock star's 1969 Chevrolet Camaro sold for $220,000 during the Barrett-Jackson auction.

    Michaels' Moonbeam Silver Bentley Continental GT features a 6.0-liter W12 engine, GPS navigation and a Premium package. The 2004 Navigator was featured on Michaels' VH1 show Rock of Love. It is equipped with a 5.4-liter V8 engine, leather interior and a DVD player. The 2011 Explorer was featured on Michaels' VH1 show Rock of Love. It is equipped with a navigation system and Luxury package.

    Barrett-Jackson described Michaels as "a passionate automotive enthusiast" in a statement.

    Wow - some very strange human beings out there.  Either full of anger, or full opinions and have no trouble sharing them as if anyone cares about their opinion.  

    Well, Edmunds, FWIW, I enjoy the occasional offbeat article that is car related.  And given that I pay nothing to read your articles, I have no complaints!

    Really, you guys need to lay off the gossip and stick to facts and trends about the AUTO INDUSTRY!!!
    No one cares about which lame TV show was canceled, or which dirt-bag three chord pseudo musician is going to do with his junk....

    wow...just, wow gtrguy2012.  Might want to talk to somene about all of the anger issues.

    I'm not really understanding the Navigator, or the Explorer for that matter.  Navigator is 7+ years old...stock.  The Explorer is relatively new.  Is he fed up with SYNC?
