Natural-gas-powered vehicles are expected to have a slightly higher profile at this auto show, since the number of them more than doubled in Switzerland in 2007. This convertible, which looks something like an early Porsche cabriolet, is equipped with a 150-horsepower 1.6-liter turbo engine. It features an under-floor gas tank and is said to go 280 miles on a single tank. It accelerates from zero to 62 mph in 6.5 seconds.
Other natural-gas-powered vehicles expected to be on display in Geneva include the Chevrolet Captiva and the Mercedes-Benz B170 NGT, which is due for release in Europe in June.
