im feeling it. This looks like nothing else in its field or even on the road. Edgier styling is what GM needs and they have accomplished it here with the CTS coupe. Tbone you are right. Buy the car that works best for you. Couldnt have said it better.

My family has had good and bad experiences with makes from both domestic and foreign manufacturers. My advice is buy the car that makes the most sense to you. Whatever the repuation or point of origin, YMMV.

Love the tailend, very unique, unlike all the offshore offerings. kudos to caddy for taking a chance with the design, the end product is better looking than some of the late models coming from bimmer or benz. As far as Japanese offers, please! With a few exceptions; some looks like catfish (Infiniti), others look like woody allen (honda), then we have the transformers wanna be (acura)!

    Cadillac, good job!

As a 2008 owner of one of the 1st New line of CTS's made. I have to say Good luck to anyone who buys anything GM initally produces. As an avid American car buyer and loyal to Cadillac for 30 years. Im so done with the poor craftmanship put into these cars. Of the most recent of 27 repairs, the Drive shaft just fell out.

    Buy Foreign

I'll have to drive one before commenting on that aspect, but visually I think it's trying too hard to make a statement, and lacks grace because of it. The rear wheels look lost, like little piano casters, in an acre of sheet metal. The tailpipes become distracting because they're the only interesting detail on the Acura-like tail.

I love the seats, though -- very Audi-like.

This car is no doubt designed by someone who wons a ruler.

This just looks like any other caddy on the road, except the swollen back. M3 just looks like 3 series with badges. I want my car to look special. Prolly why I'm into modifying. But if it were up to these two, M3. Don't ask why.

I wish Cadillac luck in selling this car, especially in the sixty-two thousand dollar iterations.

The coupe rear end is plain ugly.  The wagon and the sedan are better looking.
