I  love the looks of the new Regal I hope it perform like earlier models. I just sold a 1994 Regal with the "3800" series V6 that was without a doubt the best car we've owned. That engine was bulletproof, it got nearly 32mpg highway, oh speaking of highway that car really had passing power.
I'd talked with others who had the 3800 engine one could get 400-500 thousand miles out of these little engines fairly easy. After 13 year of service we just recently sold our Regal to a friend who is also most happy with it.
