Early Thursday morning, GM announced it had reached an agreement with UAW Local 602, which represents the 3,300 workers at GM's Delta Township, Michigan, plant who build the crossovers. Officially workers will remain on strike until they ratify the contract; it was unclear Thursday morning when that vote might be taken.
GM is eager to resume production of its popular crossovers because they are among the most sought after by customers and that high demand, combined with the strike, has left the automaker and its dealers with very limited supplies.

Everyone says that Crossover SUV is the way to go. So why is it that Buick is not moving quickly to produce the baby Buick Enclave Crossover SUV. With all the high standards of Buick in every way to the Enclave just smaller, for 5 passenger rather than the 8 passenger. Would be one of the best sellers that Buick has. Not to remake the Vue into a Buick, would be a wrong move, need to keep the quiet ride, the comfortable ride, the width of the Buick. Don't follow the other smaller SUV's by making the Buick baby smaller in width, keep the width, that you expect from a Buick. . We are counting on you Buick to produce the same Buick Crossover that measures up to the Buick Enclave.
