2010 Buick Enclave: Buick's successful Enclave SUV gets a short list of improvements for 2010. A very short list.
For the first time, 20-inch chrome wheels are available and a USB port included with premium radios is now located in the center console. The vehicle's standard OnStar system has been enhanced with more diagnostic and navigation capabilities.
2010 Buick LaCrosse: After the recent success of its Enclave SUV, Buick is trying to keep the momentum going with an all-new version of its front-wheel-drive LaCrosse sedan for 2010.
Completely redesigned inside and out, the 2010 Buick LaCrosse is available in three trim levels: CX, CXL and CXS. The first two are powered by a 3.0-liter DOHC V6 with direct injection that makes 255 horsepower. The CXS, however, is powered by a 3.6-liter direct-injection V6 pumping out 280 hp. Both engines are backed by a six-speed automatic transmission.
CX models come with standard cloth seats and 17-inch wheels, but stepping up to the CXL trim level adds heated leather seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, foglamps, outside rearview mirror with LED turn indicators and puddle lamps, and 18-inch alloy wheels. An advanced all-wheel-drive system with electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD) is available.
CXS models get a standard real-time active-dampening suspension, heated and ventilated seats covered in perforated leather, and chrome 18-inch wheels. Buick even offers 19-inch wheels with the Touring package.
Options include in-dash navigation, Bluetooth, an auxiliary audio input and a USB port. Buick also offers its blind-spot alert system called Side Blind Zone Alert on the new LaCrosse.
2010 Buick Lucerne: Last year Buick's full-size front-wheel-drive sedan got a short list of improvements, including a new larger, more powerful V6.
For 2010 the changes include new optional 18-inch chrome wheels on the Lucerne Super model and a refreshed look on all trim levels as the Super rocker panels and foglamps become standard across the board.
There also some new exterior colors. The Lucerne's color palette for 2010 now includes Pearl Frost Tricoat, Light Bronze Metallic and Sand Beige Metallic. Dark Crimson Metallic, Ming Blue Metallic, Gold Mist Metallic, Dark Mocha Bronze Metallic and Mystic Sapphire Tri-coat have been discontinued.
Inside there are new backlit gauges (a late 2009 change) and there's a choice of Ebony and Cocoa/Shale Super interior now standard on Lucerne CXL Special Edition. Bluetooth is now available on the CX model.
