    What is it?
    Buick Bengal

    What's special about it?
This lovely 2+2 roadster incorporates a revolutionary drivetrain design. Its six-speed automatic transmission is housed forward of the supercharged, 3.4-liter V6 engine, thus placing the front-driven wheels farther forward and contributing to superior balance and exceptional handling capabilities.

A short front overhang and massive 1938 Y-job-inspired grille contribute to this convertible's distinctive yet graceful design, while 20-inch wheels give it a powerful stance. Among its niftier features are voice-activated controls, a head-up display and two custom golf bags. Or you can ditch the bags, retract the tonneau cover and - voila! - you have seating for two additional passengers. Outside, Ferrari-style side mirrors are mounted high on the A-pillars, suggesting speed and European flair.

    Why should you care?
The Bengal is specifically targeted at affluent young families that desire a fun vehicle to complement a more practical vehicle already in the garage. If Buick were to expand this youth-oriented design to a production vehicle, it may successfully attract a younger, more image-conscious market. With its sleek design, this roadster should certainly appeal to fans of the Audi TT and Porsche Boxster, while promising a little more utility.
