ROCHESTER, Michigan — The Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance on July 25 will get some extra spark from the presence of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering's Bugatti Veyron. The 1,001-horsepower special, with a top speed of 258 mph, will be one of several Lingenfelter vehicles on display.
Another sure to turn heads is the Lingenfelter T/A prototype. This one is a modified 2010 Chevrolet Camaro with custom muscle-car body modifications, a shaker hood and a 455-cubic-inch LS-based engine that makes 655 hp and 610 pound-feet of torque.
The event, on the grounds of Oakland University in Rochester, is in its 32nd year.
Ken Lingenfelter, the firm's owner, already drove the Veyron at Concours Media Day this week.

Yeah, I agree. If you're a tuner and you don't tune a car, you can't call it your car. Obvi, the Veyron doesn't need tuning, but that's not the point.

Me thinks that calling it the "Lingenfelter Bugatti Veyron" is misleading. It implies that it is a Lingenfelter modified vehicle.
If the company was bringing a 100% stock, collectible Vette, would they call it a "Lingenfelter Corvette"? No, they probably wouldn't, because it is stock.
My 2 cents.

No Lingenfelter did not modify the Veyron. The Veyron is just one of the many cars in Lingenfelters collection that will be at the Concours Show.
