Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Production Begins

    1 Rating

MOLSHEIM, France — Bugatti has begun production of the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport here. The Veyron Targa was officially unveiled at last year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, and the first production car was sold at a charity auction for $3.2 million. The remaining 149 copies will be priced from $1.95 million each.

Press reports in Europe say Bugatti already has presold 30 Grand Sports. The first customer deliveries are slated to commence in July.

Inside Line says: With the end of the line in sight for the long-running Veyron, the speculation has already begun as to what Bugatti may have in store for the future. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent
