- New photos have been released of the exclusive Bugatti 16C Galibier.
- The Bugatti sedan was shown earlier this month at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show.
- Still considered a "concept study," the 16C Galibier is expected to reach production in less than a year with a whopping 800 horsepower.
MOLSHEIM, France — Following its official public debut at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show, the new Bugatti 16C Galibier sedan can now be seen by a wider global audience in a new set of images from the Volkswagen Group's premier brand.
Bugatti refers to the 16C Galibier, with only a little hyberbole, as "the most exclusive, elegant and powerful four-door automobile in the world." It was first shown last fall to a select group of well-heeled prospects and "opinion leaders" at the company's headquarters here.
While still officially labeled a "concept study," the 16C Galibier is clearly headed toward production, that is, if enough potential customers can be found for this exotic aluminum-and-carbon-fiber four-door, with its supercharged 800-horsepower 8.0-liter W16 engine.
Inside Line says: Bugatti privately continues to bat about a suggested sticker of $1.5 million plus for the Galibier, which we expect to see in production within the year. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent

I think Bugatti created a whole new category of cars in terms of price range.
Too bad we are going green.
