    Just the Facts:
    • Horst Lumma and his team transform the BMW X6 into the CLR X 650.
    • Lumma has created a full aero body kit for the X6.
    • Engine modifications take the twin-turbo 3.0 six-cylinder diesel to 335 horsepower and 494 pound-feet of torque.

WINTERLINGEN, Germany — Horst Lumma and his team at Lumma Design have put the wrench to the diesel-powered BMW X6 in Europe, transforming the muscular xDrive 40d into the CLR X 650.

Under the hood, the twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder diesel is boosted to 335 horsepower and 494 pound-feet of torque. Exhaust is routed through a new sport system with quad pipes.

A full aero body kit includes a front spoiler with larger air intakes, wider wheel arches, side sills, rear lip spoiler and rear apron with integral diffuser. Lumma has added some carbon-fiber elements, LED lamps and a matte-black front kidney grille frame.

The CLR X 650 rides on 22-inch Lumma alloys wrapped in low-profile rubber — 295/30R22 front and 335/25R22 rear. Customers can order yellow painted brake calipers for even greater visual differentiation.

The X6 cockpit gets the usual Lumma treatment, too, with a flat-bottom sport steering wheel, custom front and rear seats, aluminum pedals with slip-resistant rubber dots and illuminated sill panels with the Lumma logo.

Inside Line says: More sass for the X6 diesel.

It shows that there are too many classless people with too much money these days, and these shark companies are busy hunting their money.

Having a bottle of champagne in the back of an SUV, on folding sports bucket seats... "How cool is that dawg?" LOL

Does it come with an option to have the exhaust shoot out blue flames too!?!?

WOW! Just when you thought the BMW X6 could not be made to look any more hideous than it already is.  It almost reminds me of an AMC Eagle with a body kit, a very tacky body kit, a very tacky body kit that looks very ugly, in the way the over the top stationwagon in the first national lampoons vacation movie looked very ugly.  BMW if you are smart you will void any and all warrantees for anyone who puts one of those on your products and void the 3 years of maintenance. It is like a roadster top on a modern day Cadillac.

Man, we were doing so well for a while. A solid two months (or so) without a tacky, nearly sickening, over-expensive, mostly useless tuner-car being created daily. They must be back "in season".

Ricer will never look classy.  At least the car was ugly to begin with.

Looks like they added about 500lbs worth of plastic molding and vents and... stuff.

Its not the rear champagne holder thats the best thing.  Its the fact that you have to sit in a 5 point harness while drinking it.
