WOODCLIFF LAKE, New Jersey — New LED taillamps and optional adaptive LED headlamps are among the most significant changes on the 2013 BMW X6, which goes on sale this spring.
BMW also has mildly reworked the grille and foglamps on the 2013 X6 and is offering new paint finishes, wheel designs and leather trim.
The 2013 X6 comes with a new M Performance package that bundles 20-inch light alloy wheels, black chrome exhaust tips, stainless-steel pedals, M foot rest and door sills, shadowline exterior trim, anthracite headliner and optional Carbon Black metallic paint.
In addition, the M Performance package ups output and torque to 315 horsepower and 330 pound-feet, respectively, on the X6 xDrive35i, and to 440 hp and 480 lb-ft on the X6 xDrive50i.
The 555-hp BMW X6M continues as the range-topper for 2013.

@ speedy: I'm not sure the current X5 and X6 are based on the E60 platform; these have double wishbone front suspension and the E60 had macpherson struts.

Wow, we're really seeing a resurgence of brown among luxury marques lately. This, the Audi R8, the SLS. What other poplular 70's colors will be next?

@dagmar3:
the requirements for "popular" are different for cars that sell in different price ranges. For BMW, "popular" means anything they are making fat profit on, and I suspect the X6 fits that definition nicely.

this car is or will never be a first choice to many for 1. the price 2. the design and 3. the interior PICTURES but i hear those things are so nice inside and the zdx is not that much.

The current X5 and X6 are based on on the E60 (5 series from 2004-2010). The dash looks dated compared to the newer corperate design used in the F series X3,3,5 and 7

I guess "popular model" now means anything that sells 500 units per month in the US. Or stated another way, "popular is anything which outsells the smart fortwo". By that yardstick, the Porsche Panamera is wildly popular.

cr_driver, you should sit in one. The materials and finishes are befitting the price.

That is such a sad interior for a vehicle with such a pricetag.
I mean, looks like it belongs on a 1 series, and that, says it all.

I'll take the ZDX over this:
- Seats 5
- Better looking (in person)
- Cool glass roof + monolith interior (blacked out)
and...
- MORE RELIABLE(!!)
plus...
Cheaper... not getting ripped off with BMW's nickel and dime tricks!
