AUTENZELL, Germany — The German tuner G-Power is offering the Typhoon S, another version of the BMW X6 M in a slightly milder state of tune than its Typhoon RS Ultimate.
The latest edition starts with a Typhoon S body kit, which is priced in Europe from $9,950 and includes a redesigned front skirt with larger air intakes, a vented carbon-fiber hood, side sills and carbon-fiber rear diffuser. G-Power adds its own 23-inch Silverstone RS alloy rims and Michelin performance tires, priced from $12,625.
Under the hood, BMW's twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 has been boosted to 715 horsepower and 656 pound-feet of torque, partly through improved cooling, engine remapping and a revamped exhaust manifold that is connected to a titanium exhaust system with sport catalysts, exiting in quad carbon-fiber pipes.
The result is a 0-60 acceleration time of less than 4.2 seconds, with top speed climbing to 186 mph.
The performance kit is priced in Europe from $19,250.
Inside Line says: Wicked looking and nearly as wild as the Typhoon RS Ultimate. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent

It's like a gruesome accident. You want to look away, but you can't as your brain tries to make sense of the horror that has unfolded in front of you. Ugh! This thing was clearly targeted to the import tuner crowd. Egad!

Holy moly, that thing is ugly!! I had to leave the site and come back later for fear of eye damage! Wow! I loves me some HP, but I don't care how much HP this monstrosity has, I wouldn't want to be seen in it, much less driving it. Ugh!

For a second... I thought this car had gotten into a frontal collision.
Unfortunately, I was wrong.

You know, it's actually way better looking than I expected. That said, it's still tacky and I question the engine's ability to withstand those pressures for long.
Give me a stock Cayenne Turbo instead.

The designer of that front end must have been playing too much "Angry Birds" on his smartphone.....looks like one of the pigs the birds are trying to kill!

Couldn't they have done up a nice M3 or something? This car is too heavy to be any good on the track, under 4.3sec sucks for all the power. For the money, id rather have a SRT GC, much quicker. 715 hp sounds nice tho... Just not in this massive hunchback.

That front bumper is hideous.
