AACHEN, Germany — AC Schnitzer's latest go-fast kit is tailored for the BMW X5. Dubbed Falcon, the package includes a performance upgrade for the 3.0-liter turbodiesel.

The Falcon aero kit bundles flared fenders and wheel arches, as well as new front and rear skirts, accented with twin triangular air intakes in the hood and chrome tailpipes in the rear. The vehicle rides on 22-inch Schnitzer Type VII racing rims shod with low-profile performance rubber.

European customers can order the Falcon with a suspension-lowering module, as well as an upgrade kit that boosts output on the 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbodiesel to 306 horsepower and torque to 502 pound-feet.

What this means to you: Schnitzer knows Bimmers — even diesel-powered, off-road Bimmers. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent
