AUTENZELL, Germany — The G-Power M3 Tornado RS is the latest car to claim the mantle of "most powerful BMW M3 in the world," according to the German tuner.
Priced from $47,600, G-Power's new upgrade for the M3, the SK III "Sporty Drive" supercharger system, kicks output up to 709 horsepower and torque to 516 pound-feet. The SK III is an evolution of the company's earlier SK II system.
The M3 Tornado RS is blindingly fast. G-Power claims 0-60 acceleration takes less than 3.7 seconds, with top speed exceeding 205 mph.
The SK III kit represents a thorough overhaul of the M3 V8, with a modified crankshaft increasing displacement from 4.0 to 4.6 liters. In addition, G-Power remaps the ECU and installs Mahle forged pistons, new conrods, a carbon-fiber airbox, a custom-made cooling system and an ASA T1-723 centrifugal supercharger. A new free-flowing titanium exhaust system features metallic catalytic converters.
G-Power fits the M3 Tornado RS with its Clubsport coil-over suspension; ceramic brakes with 6-piston calipers in front and 4-pots in the rear, and its own Silverstone 20-inch forged alloy rims with Michelin Super Sport rubber — 255/30ZR20 in front and 295/25ZR20 in the rear.
The M3 Tornado RS also sports a full G-Power aero body kit rendered in carbon fiber, including a front spoiler with optional brake cooling ducts, a venture-type hood to reduce heat in the engine compartment, and a new deck-lid with integral three-piece spoiler.
Inside Line says: Not just the "most powerful," but quite possibly the priciest M3 on the planet.

Another waste of money. For all that HP, how it doesn't get to near 3.0 seconds to 60 is beyond me. I wonder how this thing will really handle in the twisties. Let's see a write up after a test of this beast.
