The ECU of the Bimmer's 4.2-liter V8 has been reconfigured to increase output to 445 horsepower, and the speed limiter has also been removed to allow the M3 to max out at a wild 202 mph. The only exterior modification is a sharp set of 19-inch BBS alloy wheels that give the car a much meaner look.
Zwickenpflug spent most of its time upgrading the interior with a mixture of Alcantara and leather on the steering wheel, dashboard, sport seats, door panels and even the roof lining. M-Sport tri-color accent stitching helps keep the new look somewhat OEM, and aluminum pedals finish off the tuning treatment inside the cockpit of the sleek M3.
Inside Line says: Although usually the opposite is true for tuners, Zwickenpflug wasted no time meddling with the exterior and went straight to the interior for its M3 upgrade package. — Mike Lysaght, Correspondent
