By removing the 155-mph speed limiter, Hamann claims the M3 can reach nearly 200 mph. Hamann also adds new fuel curves that are tuned for performance.
Mechanically, the modifications focus on opening the exhaust system with high-performance catalytic converters and mufflers. The system ends with new four-tip tailpipes.
The package is good for 448 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque. When the standard M3 goes on sale in March, it will produce 414 hp and 295 lb-ft from BMW's stock V8 power plant.
