BMW Reveals M1 Hommage Concept
COMO, Italy — In celebration of the original M1's 30th birthday, BMW unveiled the M1 Hommage concept at the Concorso d'Eleganza at Villa d'Este.
Inspiration for the exterior design of the car comes not only from the original 1970s M1, but also from the BMW Turbo Concept. It exists essentially as a modern-day example of the original supercar.
No photos have been released of the interior or of the car on the move, and BMW has not announced anything confirming that it will build another midengine supercar based on this design exercise.
