    Just the Facts:
    • German tuner Prior Design has created a body kit for the BMW 5 Series.
    • Among the available pieces are side skirts, front spoiler and rear apron with diffuser.
    • The hood features what appears to be a zebra-skin wrap.

KAMP-LINTFORT, Germany — German tuner Prior Design has created a body kit for the BMW 5 Series that consists mainly of aero add-ons, plus a peculiar wrap for the hood.

Among the available aero bits are side skirts, front spoiler and rear apron with diffuser, as well as a carbon-fiber roof spoiler. Prior says the pieces can be fitted to all current 5 Series models except the new M5.

The most peculiar addition is a new hood that appears to be wrapped in faux zebra skin.

Prior also fits quad exhaust pipes and custom alloy rims wrapped in low-profile performance rubber.

Inside Line says: That zebra-skin hood is definitely not an "upgrade" for the 5er.

The idea of a hood wrap is mildly amusing and unique, but without a doubt a downgrade.  If they wanted to take such an easy out they could've went with the usual black fiberglass or standard carbon fiber hood.  Not exactly my taste, but they would top that awful idea.

Those skirts and the front just look like they glued them on top of the body. They're not even the same shade of white. If they were gonna go so half-@ssed, why did they even bother?

The hood wrap is retarded. And the wheels are hideous. Put the stock hood back on and throw some BBS' on there and you have a winner.
