2000 BMW 328 Touring
FRANKFURT - Among the many new models to appear from BMW over the next 12 months is the 328 Touring. Featuring the same 193-horsepower inline six that motivates the new 328 Sedan and Coupe, the 328 Touring will undoubtedly capture a large share of the re-emerging station-wagon market already occupied by Audi's A4 Avant, Volkswagen's Passat and Subaru's Outback series.
With a maximum cargo capacity of 47.1 cubic feet, the 328 will add a new dimension in fun to the family-oriented enthusiast. Standard features include a roll cover for the luggage compartment, an auxiliary 12-volt outlet, air conditioning, power windows and alloy wheels. The first models should be available around spring 2000.
