BMW hasn't decided what to call this 1 Series yet, but whether it's an official M car or just a 135is, its going to be one serious performance coupe. Fortified with a tweaked version of the N54 straight six, this 135 should deliver at least 320-horsepower. It's a nice little bump over the standard model, but the real upgrades are reserved for the running gear. This prototype clearly has larger wheels and tires than a standard 135 along with more aggressive bodywork. The brakes have been upgraded too with larger, drilled rotors that suggest this coupe could arrive with more than just an "is" badge. Then again, would BMW really build an M3 beater for less money? Probably not, but this may be as close as it ever gets and no matter what it's called, we can't wait to drive it.

The fat tires and big wheel makes this thing looks very beasty. But with 320hp, it's definitely not enough to be called a M.
