Tuner Special: Vorsteiner Bentley Continental GT

SANTA ANA, California — Vorsteiner already has upgrade packages for German luxury vehicles like the BMW M3 and Mercedes CLK63 AMG, and now the tuning house has unveiled a fresh aero package for the Bentley Continental GT and GT Speed.

Called the BR9 edition, the five-piece kit was constructed using vacuum-bagged dry carbon-fiber technology. It starts off with a new front bumper cover with bigger air intakes as well as a carbon-fiber chin spoiler and continues with side skirts, a rear bumper, a diffuser and a deck lid spoiler. The package gives the two-door British coupe a 1.5-inch-lower stance in the front and a 1.4-inch drop in the back.

Vorsteiner also equipped the vehicle with 22-inch forged aluminum wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires. The tuner allows buyers to have the wheels custom painted or powder-coated if desired.

The whole carbon-fiber package comes in either glossy or matte coloring, and you can check out the California tuner's Web site for more details.

Inside Line says: Expect to see more kits from Vorsteiner as it further establishes itself in the luxury tuning market. — Mike Lysaght, Correspondent
