CREWE, England — Bentley has rolled out a lineup of car accessories just in time for holiday gift giving for the Bentley owner on your list. Top item: a set of wing-shaped fender vents to dress up the Continental GT, GTC and Flying Spur models.
The vents, positioned at the back of the front wheel arch, were created by exterior design chief Raul Pires. For now, they come in black mesh, though chrome mesh will be available early next year.
Self-leveling wheel badges that sit at the center of the wheels are available for the Arnage, Azure, Brooklands and Continental models. They feature the classic Bentley B and "Bentley Motors" script and remain upright and level at speeds up to 60 mph. And of course, they self-level automatically when the car stops.
Or consider a more functional luxury, bespoke child seats, with the Bentley wings on them, covered in leather to match the car's finish and, if desired, with the child's name embroidered on the seatback.
Other accessories include personalizable car covers with the car's model name and logo on them, and a Jewelled Torch (a.k.a., a flashlight) with the Bentley B laser-engraved on the lens. Of course, the flashlight is rechargeable using the car's cigar lighter.
The extras will be available through Bentley dealers. Pricing has not been announced.
Inside Line says: Gorgeous — but anyone who would put children into leather-upholstered car seats is likely not in the habit of cleaning up after them. — Laura Sky Brown, Correspondent
