    Model: Continental Flying Spur Speed
    Styles: Sedan
    Engine: 6.0-liter W12
    Power range: 600 hp
    Torque: 553 lb-ft
    Gearbox: Six-speed automatic
    Configuration: Longitudinal, front-engine all-wheel drive
    Claimed top speed: 200 mph

Description: There isn't another sedan on the planet that can match the Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed's potent combination of speed and opulence, both inside and out. What's more, this massive machine handles better than its 5,379-pound curb weight would lead anyone to believe. This special model (rather than the standard Flying Spur) benefits from a lower ride height, stiffer suspension and stickier tires.

IL says: Get yours with a chauffeur because you're going to feel awfully silly driving yourself around in this thing.

    Model: Continental
Styles: GT (2011), GT Speed, GTC Speed, Supersports, Supersports Convertible
    Engine: 6.0-liter W12
Power range: 567 hp (2011 GT) 600 hp (GT Speed) to 621 hp (Supersports)
    Torque: 516 lb-ft (2011 GT) 553 lb-ft (GT Speed) to 590 lb-ft (Supersports)
    Gearbox: 6-speed automatic
    Configuration: Longitudinal, front-engine all-wheel drive
    Claimed top speed: 204 mph

Description: Don't let its massive girth fool you, as the Bentley Continental — in whatever form you choose — is one serious automobile. Two body styles are available, with power ranging between ridiculous (600 hp) and insane (621 hp). The Supersports offers a wider rear track (and haunches to match) and 243 fewer pounds courtesy of lighter seats, carbon-ceramic brakes and lighter wheels. All styles are far more capable than they should be when it comes to handling. We even measured a slalom speed as quick as an M3 convertible from the Supersports. Ouch.

For 2011 the GT has been revised with more power for the base W12 and a new (although only slightly so) body. A 4.0-liter V8 will also be available late in 2011. Both engines will be able to operate on E85 biofuel.

IL says: So what if it weighs as much as two Honda Fits? Nobody will know that fact when you crush their soul with this car's punishing acceleration.

    Model: Mulsanne
    Styles: Mulsanne Sedan
    Engine: 6.8-liter V8
    Power range: 505 hp
    Torque: 752 lb-ft
    Gearbox:Eight-speed automatic
    Configuration: Longitudinal, front-engine, rear-wheel drive
    Claimed top speed: Not available

Description: The Mulsanne is the ultimate Grey Poupon car, a massively dimensioned, hugely pretentious machine with enough torque to twist a kidney out of place with one stomp of your right foot. The Brits don't screw around when it comes to big, luxurious and powerful, and the Mulsanne is all of the above. Modern technologies like a 2,200-watt, 14-speaker audio system and ample personal data storage are surrounded by perfectly hand-finished interior pieces to make this one of the world's most stunning and comfortable cabins. And when your driver puts his foot down, this thing will get the job done.

IL says: In reality, you'll never roll down your window to argue over mustard. Hit it, Jeeves.
