Bentley Taps Partner Alfred Dunhill To Produce Ultra-Lux Luggage

    0 Ratings
CREWE, England — Bentley has partnered with luxury-goods maker Alfred Dunhill to produce a line of luggage to match the quality and prestige of the cars, even designing the pieces with input from Bentley's automotive styling team.

The line includes a suitcase, weekend bag, briefcase and wash bag in brown natural-grain leather with matching interior trim. The Bentley-Dunhill team has made it a point to source quality materials from locations throughout Europe. The clasps and fastenings are exclusive to the Bentley lineup, made of brass and finished to bright silver in Italy. Chromed zip pulls read "Bentley" while leather labels inside the bags display "Alfred Dunhill for Bentley." Leather for the bags comes from young bulls in Spain and is finished with hand stitching.

The partnership works in both directions. Dunhill has ordered several Bentley Continental Flying Spurs that will be used to chauffeur guests at his Homes of Alfred Dunhill in Tokyo, Shanghai and London, which contain retail stores, barbershops and lounges.

What this means to you: You don't have to be behind the wheel of a Bentley to show your appreciation for premium luxury cars. — Eric Tingwall, Correspondent
