2010 Bentley Arnage: R.I.P.
2010 Bentley Azure: Azure is only offered as a performance-oriented Azure T for 2010. The Azure T has a twin-turbocharged 6.75-liter V8 engine that produces 500 horsepower — an 11 percent increase over the non-T Azure. Power is transmitted through a ZF six-speed automatic gearbox with semiautomatic and sports functions.
Decorative items include 20-inch five-spoke bright finish alloy wheels, a retractable "Flying B" bonnet mascot, dark tint matrix upper and lower grilles, "Le Mans" lower front wing air vents, Bentley-jewel fuel filler cap, diamond quilting on seats and door panels, and many knurled metal finish controls. Customization options include a choice of 42 exterior paint colors, eight unbleached veneers and 25 leather hides.
2010 Bentley Brooklands: No changes for 2010.
2010 Bentley Continental GT: The Supersports is not just the fastest car in the Continental GT squad, it's the fastest and most powerful Bentley ever with a claimed top speed of 204 mph. The Continental Supersports boasts a claimed 621 hp and 590 lb-ft torque from its 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine capable of running on E85 or any blend of gasoline and alcohol.
The Supersports also has a new "Quickshift" ZF six-speed automatic transmission: during upshifts, ignition and fuel are cut for a moment to give faster shift times through torque reduction. The all-wheel-drive system has a 40:60 front-to-rear torque split, while standard carbon-ceramic brakes add to the sporting emphasis.
While other Continentals are in 2+2 configuration, the Supersports is strictly a two-seater with racy carbon-fiber seat shells. The rear seats are replaced with a storage shelf with a carbon-fiber beam. Carbon-fiber panels also replace the customary wood panels.
New customized designs for the GT are available in the Series 51 Continental GT and GTC models. Series 51 cars feature three-tone premium material interiors with contrast stitching and piping. Exterior styling on Series 51 cars includes enhanced 20-inch 14-spoke polished diamond wheel with a dark center cap and a signature "51" badge on the front wings.
2010 Bentley Continental GTC: The GTC convertible has a revised fascia, with a more upright grille, larger and lower air intake, and chrome headlamp bezels. Carbon-ceramic brakes and Adaptive Cruise Control are available options. The steering has been retuned for improved feedback and feel. And there are two new exterior colors, Aquamarine and Blue Crystal, and a new interior color, Aquamarine.
The GTC convertible model is now available in a Speed version, which Bentley declares its most powerful convertible ever with claims of 600 hp, 553 lb-ft torque output, and 200 mph (195 mph claimed with the top down!).
The GTC Speed has a lowered and upgraded suspension, 9.5-by-20-inch wheels, and a more sporting electronic stability control mode. Bentley dresses the GTC Speed with a black lower bumper valence, sport exhaust tailpipes and a trunk-mounted spoiler.
2010 Bentley Continental Flying Spur: Only decorative changes for 2010. Two new exterior colors: Aquamarine and Blue Crystal. Neptune is now a cost-up option. A new leather color is available, Aquamarine, while Portofino is deleted. There are also many new interior emblems, stitching, piping, carpet and small leather hides options. There are two new 20-inch and one new 19-inch wheels available.
2010 Bentley Mulsanne: The new Mulsanne was introduced at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in Monterey, California. Designed and engineered at Bentley headquarters in Crewe, England, the Mulsanne is positioned above the soon-to-be-deceased Arnage as Bentley's flagship sedan.
The strong front styling is supposed to recall the Bentley S-Type of the 1950s, with a prominent rectangular grille and round headlamps on either side. Bentley updates the look by surrounding the projector headlamps with a chrome bezel discreetly marked "Bentley Motors," and encircles that with smaller marker lights and acrylic pipe lights. You can top off the front fascia with an optional "Flying B" retractable radiator badge.
The Mulsanne is powered by a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V8 with new variable-valve timing and cylinder deactivation that produces 505 hp and 752 lb-ft of torque. The twin-turbo V8 drives the rear wheels through a new ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. There is also a new Drive Dynamics control system, controlled through a rotary knob near the gearshift lever that the driver can use to choose from three standard and one "custom" modes of steering and new air suspension system control programs.
Inside, the Mulsanne is well equipped with a multimedia system that has a 40GB hard disk linked to satellite navigation, audio/video, personal data, and telephone/Bluetooth connectivity, all displayed with an 8-inch screen. A 14-speaker audio system with six-disc DC changer is standard, and a Naim premium sound system with a 2,200-watt amplifier is also available. The Mulsanne includes keyless start through a start/stop button on the center console. There's also a personalized keyless-entry system that preprograms radio stations, phonebook, seat position, ventilation and massage modes, steering position and seatbelt settings.
