2010 SEMA Auto Show
Consider this the comeback year of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show. The annual trade show held in Las Vegas was a little down last year in the midst of the recession, but we expect things to look a little bit brighter this year. So more chrome, more LEDs and more bright white teeth on the booth models than ever before.
Last year was the coming-out party for the new Chevrolet Camaro, so this year we expect to see several versions of the upcoming Chevrolet Cruze. Maybe there will even be a Chevrolet Volt with a bigger battery pack or something. Rest assured the Ford Mustang will be out in force, too. A factory-built supercharger has already been announced, so expect to see all manner of aftermarket performance parts for the 2011 Ford Mustang. Will the 2011 Dodge Charger make an appearance? Nothing has been confirmed yet, but with a face-lift on the way, don't be surprised if Chrysler uses SEMA as a preview event for the upcoming refresh.
Coverage starts here Tuesday, November 2. We'll have videos, blog posts and constant Twitter updates on anything that makes news along with details on all the cars, parts and anything else worth seeing at SEMA.
