2008 New York Auto Show
It's the last major domestic auto show until the fall, so the 2008 New York Auto Show is expected to showcase a solid crop of new models and even a couple concepts.
One world debut that we can already confirm is the 2009 Acura TSX. It's not a radical change, but a slightly larger size along with revised styling and a more efficient engine should make it a competitive entry-level luxury sedan.
There's also been an official announcement that the 2009 Nissan Maxima will make its world debut in New York. The flagship Nissan sedan is said to be getting a more extensive upgrade in the styling department, not to mention optional diesel power by 2010.
Also keep your eye out for the Scion Hako concept vehicle and the Suzuki Kizashi 3.
On the domestic front, the 2010 Pontiac G8 Sport Truck will be joined by the 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP. The G8 ST sounds like a strange combination of brand and purpose, but it's been popular with GM's Holden division in Australia. The two G8s will be joined by a new Pontiac Solstice coupe as well, so it's a big year for GM's "excitement" division.
We'll bring you photos, news, video and blog posts direct from the show beginning March 19.
