Moscow Auto Show
It might not have the long tradition of its European counterparts, but the Moscow International Motor Show is quickly earning a reputation as a premier international automotive event, a reflection of Russia's expanding economy and new interest in luxury goods. Started in 1997, the Moscow International Motor Show takes place in late August and features new models from around the world in addition to local parts and accessories companies. Held in the Crocus Expo Exhibition Centre, the show is spread over roughly 350,000 square feet of exhibit space. Given Russia's rapidly growing automotive market, the Moscow auto show is expected to grow even bigger, eventually becoming one of the larger international auto shows in the world.
