Overview

2001 Los Angeles Auto Show

The Greater Los Angeles Auto Show is the first major international auto show of 2001. While often not as flashy as the shows from Detroit or Frankfurt, it nonetheless provides a good selection of both new production cars and concept vehicles. The L.A. Show also offers fringe benefits, such as no snow and the fact that once you're done walking the floor, you can go buy a star map and stalk -- err, track down the abodes of your favorite Hollywood stars. Not that anyone here on staff has done that before.

Over the next two days, the Edmunds.com editorial team will cut through the PR hype and bring to you what's hot for 2001, what to expect next year and a glimpse into the future with some amazing concept vehicles. The new millennium is shaping up to be a good one for car folks, indeed.
