2000 Geneva Auto Show

Overview

2000 Geneva Auto Show

Located in Switzerland, the 70th Geneva Auto Show offers a cross-cultural mix of vehicles from every corner of the globe. Whether you're searching out the latest concept cars from mainstream players like General Motors, or hoping to catch a glimpse of new and highly specialized models from Lotus, Geneva has it covered with a little bit of everything.

Edmunds.com was on-hand to catch all the pertinent action from Europe's most eclectic show. Liberation seemed the theme at this year's Geneva show where Audi took on all roads, Volvo went cross- country, and Land Rover enhanced its free- lander philosophy. Geneva was also where Cadillac made every effort to promote its high- tech image.

While not as prestigious as Detroit or Frankfurt's auto showcases, Geneva proved a worthwhile visit. So pop a Ricola, break out the Toblerone chocolate, and join us for a jaunt through Switzerland's biggest (and only) international auto show.
