- The main addition to the TT tuner package is a set of "blades" installed behind the side doors that mimic the air vents on the Audi R8.
- Performance upgrades include a stainless-steel exhaust and lowered suspension.
- Twenty-inch alloy wheels add to the Audi TT's stance.
BRADFORD, England — British tuner Project Kahn has created a tuning package for the Audi TT 2.0 FSI that turns the compact coupe into what might be described as a baby R8.
The tuner adds a stainless-steel quad exhaust system and a lowered suspension. Exact output upgrade figures have not been released, but expect the addition of the exhaust to add a few horses.
The most interesting feature of the conversion is the R8-mimicking "blades" that have been installed on the side of the vehicle and are available in several different finishes.
A custom body kit is also included, and consists of new vented front and rear bumpers that resemble those on the R8, as well as a front lip, steel mirror housings, rear spoiler and front grille. New 20-inch RSV alloy wheels finish off the exterior look.
Like most Project Kahn vehicles, the interior is customizable to the buyer's tastes. Anything from carbon-fiber trim to a variety of leather upholstery is available.
Inside Line says: With only a four-banger under the hood and pretty much no engine upgrades, it's hard to even compare this modified TT to the likes of the R8. — Mike Lysaght, Correspondent

This modification (TT to R8) has been going on for years in Asia...And they are just starting to do it now in UK?

+1 dagmar3 for the reference
i think it's an interesting idea, but i surely wouldn't pay what they'll probably be asking for it

Wow! A new "TR8" coming out of the UK? It doesn't look the least bit wedgey - does it still have that Rover aluminum V-8 under the bonnet?
OK, it's tough to look at this hideous, pointless contraption and do anything but chuckle and joke. I especially liked this: "The most interesting feature of the conversion is the R8-mimicking 'blades' that have been installed on the side of the vehicle and are available in several different finishes." Yes, the ugliest and most gimmicky part of the R8 design, which helps spoil an otherwise nice shape on that vehicle, gets grafted onto this tuner-mess.
If I would ever see one of these on the road, I would think of a comment from an old college pal of mine: "Too much money in the wrong hands."

Completely pointless. Kahn prolly charges $15,000 for wheeles, tires, and a body kit.

And body-colored side blades look best anyway.

Their next project is a Camry body kit to make it look like the LFA... FAIL

A body kit with very minor engine and suspension upgrades? This TR8 is far from a triumph.
