Audi is making a strong showing at the 2009 Geneva auto show but it’s this TT-RS that’s carrying the high performance banner in Geneva. The TT RS features a turbocharged 2.5-liter direct-injection inline five-cylinder engine rated at "far more than 300 hp," according to Audi. The car will rocket to 60 mph in well under 5.0 seconds, with top speed electronically limited to 155 mph. Of course quattro all wheel drive is part of the packge too. The TT RS also will benefit from a number of chassis upgrades, including larger brakes. Huge wheels, a rear spoiler and R8 style LED lights up front will set the RS apart from the standard issue TT. But don’t get too excited just yet, at this point Audi has no plans to bring the TT RS to the US. Better start that protest blog as soon as possible.
